As we know that JMeter was developed using
Java-Swings, it is mandatory to install Java Development Kit (JDK version above
1.6) to run.
Step 1:
Download and install the JDK version above
1.6 and set the environment variables to point the base directory location
where Java was installed on the machine
Step 2:
Download the JMeter source file latest
version from the apache link mentioned below
As it is an open source it doesn’t required
any license.
Extract the downloaded .zip file in the
required location where it is need to be installed.
Step 3:
To run JMeter go to bin directory of the
extracted folder and click on the
